1. Information We Collect

To provide automation services, checkdm requests specific permissions via Meta OAuth. We only collect data necessary for the app's core functionality:

  • Instagram Account Identifiers: Your User ID and username to identify your account.
  • Managed Pages: A list of Facebook Pages connected to your Instagram Business account.
  • Interaction Metadata: Incoming comments on your posts and the sender's username to trigger replies.
  • Authentication Tokens: Secure access tokens to perform actions on your behalf via the Meta Graph API.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly to execute the automation rules you create. We do not:

  • Sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
  • Access or read your personal Direct Message history.
  • Post content to your profile without a specific trigger set by you.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only as long as you use the checkdm service. You have full control over your data:

Mandatory Meta Deletion Instructions:

To revoke access and delete your data, go to your Facebook Profile > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites. Find "checkdm," and click Remove. This will instantly invalidate our access tokens and signal our system to purge your account data.
